Laura Barrett, known to friends as 'EL', is an artist interested in identity, humanity and our place in this tumultuous world.
Creating art since childhood, El believes art should be shared and appreciated, which led them to enter and participate in Portrait Artist of the Year 2025.
Both GCSE and A Level Art greatly influenced the artist's journey to study science, particularly a GCSE project on Metamorphosis.
